Yes, when it's set up correctly. A lot of restaurants, retail stores, salons, and other businesses use dual pricing. The important part is making sure the signage, receipts, and setup are done properly and stay compliant with card brand and state requirements. And honestly, it's not the right fit for every business. We'll tell you that too.
Usually, free hardware comes attached to a multi-year processing agreement. That's pretty normal in this industry. We just prefer being upfront about it instead of hiding it in the fine print. If you already own compatible hardware, there are sometimes month-to-month options too.
Depends on the setup. A smaller business with a simple counter setup can move pretty quickly. Larger restaurants with kitchen printers, handhelds, online ordering, and multiple stations usually take longer. We'll give you a realistic timeline upfront instead of overpromising just to get the account.
It really depends on the business and the system. Some places need a basic counter setup. Others need kitchen printers, handhelds, scanners, KDS screens, cash drawers, or multiple terminals.
